Park Cafe
Many round, glass tables are scattered neatly about the cafe. Light,
wire-framed chairs are pushed under the tables awaiting the days patrons.
Several light-color tinted glass domes display treats and sweet goodies.
Two large beverage containers sit at the end of the tin counter. One
container is chilled on ice and the other warmed over an open flame. The
tin counter has various flower and ivy designs painted down the front.
Windows line the front and rear walls and are lined with a deep green ivy
with small white flowers. White lanterns hang from the ceiling timbers to
give an amber glow to the room.
[Exits: south]
Baeraidh is here.
A young human female with red hair is serving food and drinks here.
A young human female with red hair flirts with Baeraidh, trying to get his attention.
Baeraidh looks all around.
Baeraidh pulls out a chair for you at a nearby table.
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'It is the only place I believe is open at the moment. Unless you can think of another?'
Seiran shakes your head and settles on the stool with a thankful smile at Baeraidh.
Baeraidh sits on a stool across from you, then smiles.
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'So, what would you like from the obviously extensive menu, hmm?'
Baeraidh gives a wry chuckle.
You say to Baeraidh in common 'Coffee will be fine.'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Cinnamon?'
You nod agreeably at him.
Baeraidh buys a cup of cinnamon coffee.
Baeraidh buys a cup of coffee.
Baeraidh gives you a cup of cinnamon coffee.
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Would you like anything to eat? '
You say to Baeraidh in common 'Not really hungry, although if you are, please be my guest.'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Ah, would this still be considered the first 'meeting' even without having something to eat?'
Baeraidh considers you for a moment with a small smile.
You say to Baeraidh in common, quirking an eyebrow, 'It might?'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Well then, that will have to do.'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'So, you have obviously an adventerous imagination, being one of Kamaria's flock.'
Seiran carefully takes a sip from your coffee, observing Baeraidh over the rim.
You say to Baeraidh in common 'Ah, not exactly. I really don't have much in the way of artistic abilities and the like.'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Hows the coffee?'
You say to Baeraidh in common, grinning, 'It's fine. Now how about you tell me about you?'
You drink coffee from a cup of cinnamon coffee.
Baeraidh is here, holding a cup of coffee in his hands, a small smile on his lips.
Seiran is here, settled back on a chair, observing the other human over the rim of her cup.
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'About me? Alas, there is little enough of interest about myself. '
You say to Baeraidh in common 'I seriously doubt that. Do you have any siblings?'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'None that I know of, though my father was not exactly a man of principle when it came to ladies.'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Unlike myself, of course.'
You say to Baeraidh in common, with a small snicker, 'Of course. What about your mother?'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Now that is a good question. She could be anyone from a farmers daughter to a noblewoman. If I ever find out I'll let you know.'
You tilt your head slightly to the side.
Baeraidh gives a quick smile, though his features harden visibly.
You say to Baeraidh in common 'You lived with your father then?'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Aye, a fine man.'
You say to Baeraidh in common 'Do you still see him often?'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'A bit difficult to do. The boyo up and died.'
Baeraidh clears his throat softly.
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Anyway, moving on. What of your own family, do you have much contact with them?'
You say to Baeraidh in common 'I have no idea who my family is, other than my daughter and Aschal.'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'There you go, we are kindred spirits...explains the undeniable attraction, eh?'
Seiran laughs softly.
Baeraidh laughs heartily before grinning yet again.
You say to Baeraidh in common 'You might say that, I suppose.'
Seiran quirks a grin at Baeraidh.
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'You suppose? So, then my attraction for you is unreturned, you wound me deeply...'
Seiran snickers before bursting into a full-throated laugh, hastily putting the cup down on the table as you struggles to compose herself.
You say to Baeraidh in common, grinning widely, 'I never said that.'
Baeraidh takes a sip of his coffee, obviously trying to hide a grin.
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'So, you would say that you are attracted me?'
You say to Baeraidh in common, teasingly, 'A woman never tells, really. But, let's say it's a possibility?'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Ah a possibility...are you merely toying with me? Might I remind you have a soft heart and it would be unfair to abuse me so? '
You say to Baeraidh in common, taking another sip, 'Rest assured, I'm not merely toying.'
Baeraidh quirks his eyebrow dramatically, a pleased expression on his face.
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'No? Perhaps something small to convince me? A kiss? I still treasure the memory of the last one...'
You say to Baeraidh in common, in mock outrage, 'But we haven't even had dinner yet!'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Ah, but can we consider this a starter?'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Perhaps something to...wet the appetite as they say?'
Seiran glances thoughtfully at Baeraidh, your expression weighing.
Baeraidh gives you a winning smile.
Seiran grins and sits back slightly.
You say to Baeraidh in common 'But that would leave less to the imagination, hmm?'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Perhaps, but then again, I believe it would be worth it.'
You say to Baeraidh in common 'Hmm, I suppose it won't do any harm...?'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'My thoughts exactly!'
Seiran smiles bemusedly at Baeraidh.
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Of course, considering you have already kissed me on the cheek...the natural progression would be...'
Baeraidh carefully places his cup to the side and leans across the table, grinning at you.
Seiran quirks an amused eyebrow at Baeraidh but remains in place.
Baeraidh gives a dramatic sigh as he shakes his head, still grinning.
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Why must you try and make me beg?'
Baeraidh sends you an OOC message saying 'Talk about hard to get'
Baeraidh sends you an OOC message saying 'lol'
You send an OOC message to Baeraidh saying 'what, she didn't do anything! XD'
Baeraidh sends you an OOC message saying 'My point exactly, kiss him! lol'
You say to Baeraidh in common, amused, 'I'm not making you beg at all. But since I kissed you last time, I do believe it's your turn?'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Fine, I suppose that makes sense...'
Baeraidh leans across the table and gives you a long, slow kiss before returning to his seat.
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Your mouth leaves the finest taste upon my lips...nector to rejuvenate the soul.'
You say to Baeraidh in common, cheeks flushing faintly, 'Yes, I'm sure...'
Baeraidh pauses for a moment, before smoothly leaning across the tabletop once again and kissing you passionately before again retreating to his own side of the table, breathing heavily.
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Forgive me, it was so good the first time I couldn't help myself...'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Feel free to slap me repeatedly, but it was worth it.'
Seiran flushes more and carefully picks up the discarded coffee cup and starts to sip at it.
Baeraidh gives you his best smile before leaning back in the chair.
You say to Baeraidh in common, clearing her throat softly, 'No, there's no need to slap you, it was quite, ah...enjoyable.'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'I'm glad to hear it. Well now, I don't know about you, but that certainly got my taste buds going. I can't wait till the main course...'
Seiran looks blankly at Baeraidh.
Baeraidh returns the look then stifles a chuckle.
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Nevermind...So tell me something else about yourself...?'
You say to Baeraidh in common, quickly recovering her composure, 'Not really much to tell...anything in specific you wish to ask about?'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'How about your daughter? If she is anything like her mother then you must be very proud.'
You say to Baeraidh in common, face lighting up with a bright smile, 'She's still very young, really. All things considered I don't know if she looks like me or not. We'll see I suppose.'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Let us hope she has your beautiful eyes. And what of her father? Is there still contact between them?'
You say to Baeraidh in common 'She has her father's eyes actually. And he hasn't seen her since she was very small...he's been busy most likely.'
Seiran smiles pleasantly despite the faint tightening of her eyes.
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Ah, I see. Well I know many a lady that believes the lack of male influence is probably the best thing for a young girl.'
You say to Baeraidh in common 'Still, she should get to know her father...'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Hmm...I do not mean to sound overly harsh but, does the father have any interest in the child?'
You say to Baeraidh in common 'He did before...I'm sure he still does and is just busy, what with the war.'
Seiran shrugs her slim shoulders and shifts uncomfortably.
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'No matter, it is none of my business.'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Your daughter, she resides with you in the Salty Harbour?'
You say to Baeraidh in common, blinking, 'Ah, that's not what I meant...just that I don't know the answer myself I suppose.'
You nod your head twice in rapid succession at him.
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'I'll be honest, I know little enough of the Harbour and its people...now that I am part of Aschal, I shall no doubt be expected to spend a bit of time there. What is the place like?'
You say to Baeraidh in common 'Quiet, more so than Seria. Peacefull too, and the ocean is a beautiful sight.'
You smile at him.
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'I look forward to seeing it, but now I have to make a move.'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Mores the pity.'
Baeraidh gets to his feet smoothly.
Seiran nods and pushes her chair back slightly.
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'As usual, your company was more than pleasurable and the highlight of my week.'
Baeraidh takes your hand and kisses it gently before smiling.
You say to Baeraidh in common 'I enjoyed it too. Dinner next time, perhaps?'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Aye, that sounds like a plan. I'll try and find somewhere worthy of you.'
Baeraidh says to you in common, in a smooth, relaxed voice, 'Good luck to you, darling. Till next time, you'll be in my thoughts.'
Baeraidh leaves south.
