Characters: Breiden, Seiran.

You utter the words, 'roam'.
You roam into the shadows.
Serian Center Square
The stones are of different colors, ranging from deep browns to rusty
oranges, and have been placed in squares along the ground. Green grass
grows between the spaces of the square blocks. The rare flower also can be
seen growing wildly along the ground, being a bright yellow or purple in
color. This wide field consists of lush green grass, and different colored
stones. Along the edges of the wide courtyard making up the Serian Square,
tall statues made of the past and former rulers of the city can be seen,
sentient as if they were like guardians.

[Exits: north east south west]
( 5) A blackened iron pickaxe has been left here.
A pristine white marble fountain is here, decorated with small child water-bearers.
A bench made of wood and wrought iron sits here, with intricate carvings in the wood.
A book containing the Serian laws rests here, on a white marble podium.
Kaede is here.
Nagesi is here, his crimson furred arms crossed over his chest.
Breiden is here, leaning against the podium, elbow pillowed on the book of Serian laws.
(White Aura) Randolf is here, standing rather rigidly, his hammer's head resting at his feet, hand held firmly to the long handle.
Hestar is here.

Hestar says in common, with a quiver in his voice, 'Another human!'

Randolf says to Kaede in common, in a deep unwavering tone, 'Perhaps not, but tis amusing to imagine...'

Nagesi says in common, in a deep, beastly voice, 'There seems to be many..'

Breiden yawns and nods to you.

You ruffle Breiden's hair playfully.

You say to Breiden in thieves cant 'Everything alright?'

Breiden says to you in thieves cant, mildly, '...marginally. Maybe.'

Kaede says to Randolf in common, in polite, cultured tones, 'I can only be thankful for the respite, whatever the cause. I wasn't eager to look forward to another day or two of what we'd just gone through.'

You say to Breiden in thieves cant '....that doesn't sound very reassuring....?'

Randolf says to Kaede in common, in a deep unwavering tone, 'People still work at clearing away debris... I have had some men sift through the debris to find anything that may be reuseable.'

Hestar says in common, with continuous amazement, 'Debree from what?'

Kaede says to Hestar in common, in polite, cultured tones, 'A meteor shower that destroyed parts of the city.'

Breiden says to you in thieves cant, mildly, 'It might be later?'

Randolf says to Hestar in common, in a deep unwavering tone, 'Walk about the city, you will see what the debris is from.'

Podlyo roams out of the shadows.

You sigh.

Podlyo looks at Kaede.

Hestar says in common, with continuous amazement, 'Ooooh.... Were the meteors cool?'

Podlyo looks at himself.

You say to Breiden in thieves cant 'Want to tell me what happened? Or...rather not?'

Hestar says in common, with continuous amazement, 'EEK!'

Yasi appears in a flash of light!

Hestar hides behind bench.

Yasi mehs.

Yasi looks all around.

Nagesi leaves north.

Yasi concentrates on her projection.

Yasi looks at Hestar.

Hestar peers out from behind the bench, decides it's safe, and waltzes out.

Breiden says to you in thieves cant, mildly, 'I don't mind, I suppose.'

Yasi closes her eyes and begins to concentrate.

You nod your head twice in rapid succession at him.

You say to Breiden in thieves cant 'Somewhere else then?'

Yasi mehs at a brightly colored butterfly.

Yasi looks at a brightly colored butterfly.

Breiden nods.

Hestar says in johgan, while grinning, 'Hi!'

Yasi says in common 'Hey!'

(walk)

A Suite at The Suicide King
A door sits in the wall to the west, heading back out into the hallway.
The walls here have been colored a deep blue, and a small chandelier made of
gold and crystals hangs from the center of the ceiling. A small dresser is
also within the room, having a couple of drawers and a pitcher of water upon
it. A rich and lavish room, the floor is covered in different kinds of
reddish-brown animal pelts. A large four-poster bed sits against one wall,
covered in many silk pillows and sheets. A window looks out the eastern
wall, showing the sights of the racetrack below.

[Exits: west]
A comfortable four-poster bed rests against the wall, covered in silk sheets.
Breiden has arrived from the west.

You close the door to the west.

You carefully pour oil and form a large slick!

Breiden says in thieves cant, yawning, 'Don't open the door, by the way.'

You nod your head twice in rapid succession.

Seiran moves towards a bed and rests on the matress, leaning back against the bedpost and tilting her head in question at Breiden, patting the bed beside her.

Breiden shrugs faintly and sits on the bed, leaning back and sprawling out, booted feet propped on the covers.

You say to Breiden in thieves cant, quietly, 'So, what happened?'

Breiden says to you in thieves cant, voice carefully level, 'Roman... his soul was bound to Ty's for a while.'

You say to Breiden in thieves cant, quietly, '...I know.'

You sigh.

You say in thieves cant, quietly, 'I was there.'

Breiden says to you in thieves cant, voice carefully level, 'Yes, well. I'm very selfish. And the end was that his soul was given rest with Sativa's embrace.'

You say to Breiden in thieves cant, quietly, 'What happens to Ty concerns you too...you are allowed to be selfish...'

Breiden says to you in thieves cant, voice carefully level, 'I suppose. But with Roman, he would have had some way to stop the loneliness. And I have to fix that, now.'

Breiden says to you in thieves cant, voice carefully level, 'I know. And now that he's only one soul again... they'll start bleeding again.'

You sigh.

You say to Breiden in thieves cant, quietly, 'What do you plan to do?'

Breiden says to you in thieves cant, voice carefully level, 'What I intended to do before this... mess. '

You say to Breiden in thieves cant, quietly, 'Which is?'

Breiden says to you in thieves cant, mildly, 'Kamaria... is the Moon. She controls the Tides. And the human lifespan is just one tide that can be changed.'

Breiden says to you in thieves cant, very quietly, 'It hurt so much. Because he wanted his life bound to mine, and then he bound his to Roman and...'

Breiden shrugs faintly.

You say to Breiden in thieves cant, softly, 'He felt guilty....he thought Roman's death was partly his fault and that he gave Roman the same wounds. And...he wanted Roman to come back.'

Breiden says to you in thieves cant, quietly, 'I know. That's why I'm selfish.'

You say to Breiden in thieves cant, quietly, 'Is it really selfish to want him for yourself...?'

Breiden says to you in thieves cant, quietly, 'Isn't it? I'm selfish enough that I don't know what I would have done if their souls hadn't been unbound.'

You say to Breiden in thieves cant, musingly, 'I don't think it is. What affects Ty, affects you indirectly...and vice versa. I suppose both of you have some sort of stake in the other's fate.'

Breiden says to you in thieves cant, shrugging, fingers almost clawing at the pillows, 'He wasn't really Ty anymore. There were parts... but not all of him. '

Breiden says to you in thieves cant, very quietly, 'What if he hates me for this?'

You say to Breiden in thieves cant, sighing, 'Ty wouldn't hate you...you know that.'

A large thick patch of black oil crumbles into dust.

You carefully pour oil and form a large slick!

Breiden says to you in thieves cant, very quietly, 'What if he can't help it? He said Roman was so lonely but..'

You say to Breiden in thieves cant, softly, 'He loves you too much for that...even if he's a bit upset, he'll get over it. I don't think he knows how to hate you.'

Breiden nods slightly.

Breiden says to you in thieves cant, mildly, 'I still... want to be bound to him. I want to ask Kamaria to change the tide of my life.'

You say to Breiden in thieves cant, her hand reacing for Breiden's hair, carefully stroking it before drawing back, 'Change your lifespan to that of a siriyu?'

Breiden says to you in thieves cant, mildly, 'Change my lifespan to Ty's.'

You say to Breiden in thieves cant, quietly, 'So he won't be lonely?'

Breiden says to you in thieves cant, mildly, 'Yeah. So he'll never have to worry about me leaving.'

Seiran nods slowly.

You say to Breiden in thieves cant, smiling slightly, 'That doesn't sound like such a bad idea.'

Breiden says to you in thieves cant, shrugging, 'I don't know how it will work, though.'

You say to Breiden in thieves cant, quietly, 'It's worth a try?'

You say to Breiden in thieves cant, quietly, 'Kamaria seems to like you. I hope she'll help.'

You smile at him.

Breiden says to you in thieves cant, smiling slightly, 'I hope.'

You say to Breiden in thieves cant, quietly, 'Will pray for you, if it'll help.'

Breiden says to you in thieves cant, smiling wryly, 'Not yet. I don't trust the gods that much.'

You nod agreeably at him.

You say to Breiden in thieves cant, dryly, 'I never did either.'

A large thick patch of black oil crumbles into dust.

Breiden says to you in thieves cant, shrugging slightly, 'I suppose thank you for listening to me whine about my problems.'

You say to Breiden in thieves cant, stiffling a snicker, 'The day I see you whine is the day I officially call myself insane and follow Caym.'

You say to Breiden in thieves cant, softly, 'Besides, I don't mind.'

Breiden grins slightly at you.

Breiden yawns.

You lean back and stretch your arms and legs.

You say to Breiden in thieves cant 'So, are we rejoining civilization, or are we staying here and you can tell me how things ended after I went to sleep?'

Breiden says to you in thieves cant, mildly, 'Actually... I think I'm going to sleep.'

You say to Breiden in thieves cant, smiling, 'Or that.'

Breiden yawns and drowses off.

You give Breiden a peck on the cheek.
